Female Drivers brings together a powerhouse of artists to explore the representation of women in art and through language. The term female drivers is loaded with opposing meanings – women in control and in the driving seat/women undermined for being there. Female Drivers embraces the personal as political through artists Mechelle Bounpraseuth, Michelle Brodie, Bern Emmerichs, Michelle Gearin, Sarah Goffman, Maggie Hensel-Brown, Nicola Hensel, Elizabeth Pulie, Julie-Anne Long and the Countess.
