Historic Grossmann and Brough Houses at Maitland Heritage Fest

Overview

The National Trust property, Grossmann House, will be open for house tours during Maitland’s Heritage Fest from 10:30am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday 18th & 19th June. Take a trip back in time to the Victorian era in this fully-restored house museum located at 71-73 Church St for the special entry price of $5 per person, children under 5 free.

Brough House is currently home to the stunning textile exhibition of our Artist in Residence, Ellen Howell, who has created wonders in loom woven silk, block printed fine cotton and hand painted cotton & copper wire vessels. Homemade jams and preserves for sale and refreshments (tea, coffee, cold drinks, home-made scones and slices available.
