Welcome one and all – this Local Government Week, we’re throwing open the doors of the Maitland Town Hall and new Maitland Administration Centre for an all ages open house.

Maitland is a city where the past and present sit side by side. See it for yourself by taking a tour of the historic Town Hall, which dates back to the 1880s, or step inside the new Administration Centre, which officially opened earlier this year.

Grab a bite to eat from the community BBQ and settle in for live performances from Maitland Brass Band, Maitland Pipes and Drums and Maitland Community Choir.

Plus, learn all about the ins and outs of local government, such as the exciting careers that you can lead and the programs that Council runs.
