Overview

As one of Maitland’s seven flagship events, the popular New Year’s Eve celebrations sponsored typically attracts crowds of over 10,000 people to the city.

In 2021 they are extending the footprint of their New Year’s Eve celebrations to include the Riverside car park, the riverside and length of the river walk, RH Taylor Reserve, Lorn and Cathedral Street Carpark.

This family friendly event has a lot to offer, with kids and the young at heart to enjoy free amusements, face painting, activities and a disco playing all the top hits from 2021.

Food, beverage and dessert stalls will be available to tantalise the taste buds of all attendees.

Celebrations will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9.00pm.
