The Show at MRAG Cake Competition and Country Women’s Association Market Stall
Overview
To celebrate Lucy Culliton’s exhibition, The Show Maitland Regional Art Gallery is having its own mini show, especially for budding cake decorators. Lucy’s work embraces the rural community spirit and the energy and warmth of local agricultural fairs, and they hope to capture this at their mini Show.
In the spirit of the Agricultural Shows, they have an official show Judge, Tracey Cambourn, coming along to share her knowledge of how judging takes place at the show, along with long-time show entrant and multi-award winner Margaret Guy, who will talk about her experience as an entrant. To add to The Show atmosphere, they have invited the Maitland CWA ladies to hold a stall between 10.00am and 12:30pm, complete with baked goods and handicrafts.
There will be a show talk at 12:30pm and the Cake Competition Winners will be announced.
