Maitland Patchwork quilters will feature over 150 beautiful quilts that their 100+ members have completed in the last 2 years.
This year, Val Redhouse will be featured with a retrospective of fabulous quilts. There is also a bag challenge, #Showusyourbag, showcasing a number of ingenious creations.
There will be 5 pop-up fabric shops including Tambourine to Tilba, Glendoon Cottage, Cherry Pie Quilts, Creative Crafts and Busy Needles. The members stall has handmade items including quilts for sale. The cafe has a range of scones, slices and sandwiches throughout the day.
The fabric and pattern for this years raffle quilt “Maitland meets Morrell” was donated by Di Ford-Hall and Carmel Allen. It was constructed by members of the group and quilted by Shirley McLennan.
The raffle will be drawn at 4.00 pm Sunday and proceeds benefit Breast Cancer Research.
