The Levee Art Gallery and Studios

Overview

The Levee Art Gallery and Studios building, like many other parts of Maitland, has a fascinating history, starting out as one of the first commercial properties built in Maitland in the Early Victorian period. The Levee Art Gallery and Studios opened in May 2018 with a number of opportunities for Emerging and Established Artists.

The Levee Gallery has three Main Gallery Exhibition Spaces as well as a large Open-plan Creative Studio Workshop Area and two Studio Rooms available under short or long term licence to a creative artisan looking for a space to flourish. Creative workshops will also be run weekly from the large Creative Studios within the premises open to the public.

The gallery is dedicated to bringing joy and beauty to the art collector. With a fine ensemble of the artists, they offer paintings and sculptures that will enhance your life and touch your heart. It is their wish to fulfill your art desires with unique and inspirational creations. They welcome you here!
