Solstice Slumber: Sleepover
Calling all ghouls and gals, join us this June at Maitland Gaol to celebrate the Winter Solstice. The solstice, meaning ‘sun stopping’, is the longest night in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Solstice Slumber is a great opportunity to experience the site in total darkness. You’ll get to take part in a guided Escapes tour of Maitland Gaol and learn about prisoners who escaped or dared to try and escape but failed during the Gaol’s operation.
Following the tour, join us in the Visitors Centre to test your knowledge of all things supernatural, with rounds of spooky trivia and enjoy a light supper with your slumber buddies before being locked down for the night.
