Valerie Marshall Strong Olsen, Still Life with Flowers, 1985, oil on board

A Rare Sensibility | Valerie Marshall Strong Olsen

Overview

The 67 works in this exhibition, most never seen before in public, are chiefly from the collections of Valerie’s son and daughter, Sydney gallerist Tim Olsen and Louise Olsen, cofounder of Dinosaur Designs and herself a practising artist. Dating from the late 1950s to the late 1990s, the works cross many mediums including oil and acrylic on board and canvas, watercolours, prints and drawings.
