The Young Architects 2023

The Young Architects: Autumn – Teenagers

Overview

Stranger Things: Make a habitat for an imaginary creature!

This workshop affords students the opportunity to let their creativity run wild. Looking at unusual animals and their whacky homes, such as the Tasmanian mountain burrowing crayfish and its little chimney house (true story!).

Learn basic construction techniques with cardboard, found objects, organic matter, and modelling clay while making a funny house for an imaginary tenant. Along the way be encouraged to think about environments, materials and sustainable building!

This workshop is designed for those aged 12 – 16 years.

Bring some water and some snacks.
