Realistic Body Parts Workshop with Barbie Procobis

Overview

Join artist Barbie Procobis and learn how to sculpt and colour polymer clay to create a realistic body part or small sculpture using a range of tools and media. You will develop an understanding of the aims of realism with reference to Ron Mueck’s Pregnant woman, whilst learning some skills needed to execute them including relief, additive and subtractive techniques. This will be achieved through the use of a variety of tools, especially for details.

Participants will take home skills that can be applied to their own sculptures or drawings, as well as a finished artwork.

This workshop is limited to eight participants so book now to avoid disappointment.
