Bringing History Alive with Katrina Nannestad

Bringing History Alive with Katrina Nannestad

Overview

Katrina’s historical novels We Are Wolves, Rabbit, Soldier, Angel, Thief, Waiting for the Storks and All the Beautiful Things focus on lesser-known aspects of the Second World War.

Silver Linings is inspired by Katrina’s family history and is set in 1950s rural Australia.

During this interactive session, Katrina will talk about the true stories that inspired these novels, and the exciting but sometimes tricky process of researching and writing.

Students will participate in conversations designed to bring aspects of the topic alive.

For teachers and students in Year 5 and up, including high school.

School group bookings as well as individual or homeschool bookings welcome
