Got a favourite item that’s broken, worn out, or just needs a little TLC? Instead of throwing it away, bring it along to Repair It Maitland!
Come along to a free monthly Repair Café where local residents can bring household items to be repaired by our team of skilled volunteers during a relaxed three-hour session.
We can help with things like:
– Clothing and textiles
– Toys
– Small furniture items (that can be carried)
– Computers
– Bicycles
– Electrical items (licenced electrician will be there)
– Repairing instead of replacing helps reduce waste going to landfill, saves money, extends the life of our belongings, and supports a more sustainable community.
But it’s not just about repairs! Each session is a chance to enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit, meet new people, share skills, and learn a few handy repair tips along the way. Everyone is welcome, and it’s completely free.
Bring along something that needs fixing, or simply drop in for a chat and a coffee.
