Maitland Riverlights

Overview

Maitland Riverlights celebrates diversity through authentic food, music, dance and interactive experiences. This year’s event is expected to be bigger than ever as the multicultural festival grows from a single-day event to a week-long celebration of Maitland’s colourful cultural composition.

During the week, there will be plenty of opportunities to expand your cultural exposure by immersing yourself in the expanded program, encompassing author talks, cultural degustation sessions, poi workshops, art and lantern-making workshops, and more.

On Saturday, make your way to The Levee, to see, taste, feel and experience different cultures worldwide. Visit one of the many cultural villages hosting dance workshops, cooking demonstrations, language lessons, live music, lantern making, dynamic lighting and roving entertainment. There will also be culinary treats worldwide and cooking demonstrations at the Global Kitchen for foodies at heart.

All are welcome, so be sure to make the most of the global experiences available.
