Art & Dementia: Conversations & Community Days
Overview
Our Art & Dementia sessions are 90 minute social tours of exhibitions and creative workshops created specifically for people living with dementia and their carers. The tours are guided by a trained facilitator, who uses art as a trigger for conversation and self-expression, guiding people through artmaking activities in a friendly and supportive environment.
In addition to in Gallery sessions, this grant will support our team to conduct outreach and create online resources to stimulate those living with dementia and their carers or facility staff to create and connect.
