Australian Poetry Slam 2025 – The Election Special is here! Join the search for the people’s poet in Maitland.
Local poets have two minutes to impress, and the audience decides who goes to the NSW State Final – and maybe the National Final at the Sydney Opera House.
Tickets are for both audience members and performing poets.
The winner will be crowned National Slambassador for 2025, scoring a $20,000 prize including publication and a tour of Australasia.
Hosted by 2023 Slam Champion Rob Waters – poet, storyteller, and proud Darkinjung local.
