Breakfast with the Birds
Overview
East Maitland Landcare, along with Maitland City Council and the Hunter Bird Observers Club will hold a Breakfast with the Birds on Saturday 30th August at 8.30am. The event will be held at the East Maitland Landcare site on Durban Crescent, East Maitland, where you can learn about birdwatching, see which species of bird live locally and tour the Landcare site to find out how the community is working to make a different to their habitat.
The event is free and a light breakfast will be provided. Registration to the event is required, scan the QR code to sign up.
Be sure to wear enclosed footwear as well as long sleeves, long pants and a hat. A high degree of mobility is essential to participate in this event due to the highly rocky and rutted nature of the trails in the reserve.
