The skill of mending is passed down through many traditions and cultures across the globe. Take some time to learn or pass on hand sewing and mending skills.
Come along to East Maitland Library and get to know others with an interest in sustainability and passing on traditional mending skills through needle work.
Not only will you be creating connections with others, but you can also extend the life of favourite materials through resourcefulness and creativity. All in a welcoming environment with afternoon tea.
Snacks and materials provided, feel free to bring your own project (no machines please).
