Creative Tapestry Weaving – Spring Workshop

Overview

Discover the beauty of tapestry Weaving using a simple frame loom in a supportive workshop environment.
You will become familiar with a range of basic techniques such as: Interlacing of yarns with fingering, Plain weave 1/1 and 2/2, Joining of colours – slits, interlocking and vertical, Angled weft – dovetail and lozenge spot, Closed – open and sumac. This is a one-day workshop from 10am to 3pm. There is a material fee to the tutor of $20 payable on the day. You will learn to bring your ideas to life and be placed on the path to your own projects.
