Join us at Sun Street Studios Maitland, for a special double event featuring the acclaimed documentary Living the Tradition with Ilse de Ziah, and a live concert with Ilse and Ian Date. It’s a magical blend of film, music, storytelling, and Irish cultural heritage.
Living the Tradition is Ilse de Ziah’s journey through Ireland in search of the stories behind ten Irish airs — filmed live in beautiful locations, featuring musicians, scholars, and local history.
After the film, the energy shifts to live performance: cello and guitar duets with De Ziah & Date, interpreting the airs and blending Celtic, jazz, and world music.
