Draw the Regent Honeyeater for Teens

Overview

Bookings essential. Tickets released 6 January.

Are you an art enthusiast with a passion for wildlife? Discover the stunning Regent Honeyeater, one of Australia’s most critically endangered species, through the lens of art in our exclusive drawing workshop!

This workshop will focus on the delicate beauty of the Regent Honeyeater, a vibrant bird known for its striking yellow and black plumage. With fewer than 400 left in the wild, the Regent Honeyeater faces an uncertain future. You will closely study photographs of the birds, while learning about their habitat, behaviour, and the conservation efforts dedicated to saving them.

Their experienced instructor will walk you through the techniques of capturing birds in their natural elegance, from feather details to expressive poses.

All materials will be provided.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is designed for all participants to enjoy and improve their skills.

This workshop is for teens aged 12 – 18.

This workshop is proudly supported by NSW Government and Cleverpatch.
