drumMuster Collection Day
Overview
The event allows residents to dispose of empty, clean, non-returnable metal and plastic crop production and on farm animal health chemical containers free of charge. Only containers carrying the drumMUSTER logo will be accepted.
This program ensures eligible containers can be disposed of appropriately and that the potential for environmental contamination can be minimised.
Residents wishing to make use of the free drumMUSTER collection program are reminded that containers will only be accepted if they are free of all chemical residues. Each container will be inspected to ensure that this is the case, and must be triple rinsed or they will not be accepted.
Lids should be removed to allow the containers to dry out once rinsed but can be taken along separately for collection as a part of the drumMuster collection program.
Those who wish to participate in this event must contact Council on (02) 4934 9611 to book a time they anticipate they will be dropping off containers for recycling on collection day.
