MRAG Exhibition: Hello Again – It’s Nice to See Your Face

Overview

Coming out of isolation, along with the rest of us, are faces of old friends that we haven’t seen for some time – plus new friends that have been waiting to ‘show their face’

This exhibition Hello Again will reunite you with some of the iconic portraits from the Maitland Regional Art Gallery Collection plus new portrait acquisitions that will be on display at MRAG for the first time. These portraits are of faces that artists have been compelled to interrogate and record in many different formats and mediums and their sitters include famous Australians, artists, actors, friends and family, plus many self- portraits that provide us with an insight into the artists themselves. Come together again at MRAG and get to know the people from the MRAG Collection.
