Katrina Nannestad In Conversation

Katrina Nannestad In Conversation

Overview

Join us for an inspiring author talk with Katrina Nannestad, a multi award winning children’s writer whose stories weave together history, mystery, adventure and humour.

Growing up in country New South Wales in a neighbourhood full of happy, slightly wild children, Katrina developed a lifelong love of storytelling.

Her adult years have been spent raising boys, teaching, daydreaming and crafting stories that celebrate family, friendship and belonging.

In this special session, Katrina will share her journey to becoming an author, her passion for writing historical fiction for young readers, and how her books connect with and support the school curriculum.

Supported by the Australia Reads LitUp grant funding, this is a free Literature Live event.

Nibbles and drinks provided and book purchases and signing available on the evening.
