Kwanda Quilting with Janet Steele

Overview

Kwanda, also known as Kwandi quilting, travelled to India from Africa. It is a colourful way of converting tiny scraps of cotton fabric into amazing placemats and coasters.

Participants need to bring a backing piece of cotton fabric 50 x 80cm. Also bring scissors, pins, darning needle, size 8 crochet thread and lots of your favourite coloured scraps of cotton. Wadding will be provided, cost of $5.
