National Trust Grossmann House Tours

Overview

The National Trust property, Grossmann & Brough Houses in Maitland, is open for hourly house tours Sunday, 9 October, from 10:30am to 3:00pm, a 5 minute walk from Maitland Railway at 71 Church Street. Built in 1870 by merchant Isaac Beckett, it reflects day-to-day living in the Victorian era.

Bookings on Eventbrite preferred but walk in visitors also welcome. $10 Adult, $25 Family, $8 Concession and children over 5, Trust members and children under 5 free. Home made refreshments and our famous jams and preserves also available.

While visiting, view the stunning exhibition of high fashion garments from the 1920’s through to the 60’s in Brough House, worn by the Raymond Terrace born socialite and actress, Muriel Mackay, as presented by the Museum of Clothing.
