Overview

Do you have a story about someone you would like to capture in oils? Join artist Michelle Brodie for an introduction to working with oils to create a painting of a person with a significant backstory, either someone you know or admire or yourself.

During the workshop you will learn how to use objects and symbols to tell a story through portraiture. You will be able to explore the possibilities of oil paint by developing a painting through the exploration of mark-making and colour mixing.

All skill levels welcome and all materials will be supplied.
