School drop ins to Luke Thurgate drawing the Maitland Archive

Overview

In The Maitland Archive, artist Luke Thurgate will create an evolving wall drawing in the gallery space. Local people are invited to bring small, non precious objects that have memories and personal narratives attached to them.

This session is for school groups to visit The Maitland Archive with items for Luke to incorporate into the growing exhibition. The objects contributed will be displayed in the space surrounded by Luke’s drawings for the duration of the project.

Class size 25, one class per hour.
