The Lonely Plastic Bag

Overview

Join local author Divine Breen for a reading of her beautiful new picture book, The Lonely Plastic Bag.

This story aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of single-use plastics, encouraging children to think about the journey of plastic bags after they’re thrown away.

Following the story, join Maitland City Council’s fantastic waste team for some fun and creative crafts and games using recycled materials.
