Overview

The Tocal Field Days are the premier agricultural field day event in the Hunter Region, held every year on the first weekend in May this year celebrates 40 years of Tocal Field Days. Located on the grounds of the Tocal Agricultural College just 10 minutes from Maitland.

This year, you can browse over 370 exhibits, watch educational demonstrations with agriculture experts, and learn about the latest innovations in farming techniques, technology, and machinery.

Be prepared to be wowed by live music, with country music sensation Jemma Beech and Mackenzie Lee appearing over the weekend. Foodies will also be impressed by the many gourmet food and wine vendors.

Visit the animal nursery to cuddle baby farm animals, kiss a llama, and join in the excitement of the piglet races. Milk a real cow at the Dairy NSW stand, watch working dogs in action and admire one of the many displays, including blacksmithing and horse hot shoeing.

If that is not enough, watch the action from above with a private helicopter flight around the pristine surroundings of Tocal and Paterson.
