Wear Your Voice – Art Workshop
Overview
The “Wear Your Voice” concept is focussed on empowerment and individual self expression, and supporting youth to share their perspectives, their values, and ideas.
The activity aims to acknowledge the positive impact Youth make to their local community, celebrating their diversity and accomplishments, and will result in a visual and tangible product of their meaningful contributions to the world around them for them to proudly wear and/or take home.
All staff members, particularly our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff members, will use this activity as an opportunity to Yarn.
Through our business services, and our knowledge of local organisations, groups, and opportunities, this activity provides a great opportunity to identify and support young people’s goals and provide opportunities for connection.
Suitable for 10 years+.
