Donnybrook Eco Retreat is a luxury permanent tent with sealed road access, nestled by a lovely dam where the local ducks swim. It is an innovative way to enjoy nature whilst still treading lightly on the environment. They have utilised environmentally friendly materials and services wherever possible.
With en suite, basic self-catering facilities and fresh farm supplies for breakfasts, you will find this the perfect base to explore the local wineries, and art galleries or ride bikes through picturesque country roads. The 100 acres provide an opportunity to walk, kayak, and chat with the miniature goats, horses and pigs, as well as ducks, alpacas, sheep and cattle or just sit back, throw a line in the dam and enjoy the view.
Within half an hour you can be in Paterson, Morpeth, Maitland and lots of Hunter Valley wineries. The Valley boasts a wide range of restaurants and cafes.
Activities like hot air ballooning, sky-diving, and flying lessons are available for the more adventurous.
