The Royal Newcastle Aero Club has a long and proud history, with its beginnings back in 1928.
Over the years, the club has operated a range of aircraft with the clubs current fleet consisting of Cessna 152s, Cessna 172s, a Cessna 182, a Piper Archer, a Citabria, a De Havilland Tiger Moth and a Pitts Special. All club aircraft are maintained to the highest standards by onsite engineers.
Their charter is to train you as a new pilot, so you can enjoy and experience the challenge and freedom of flight as safely as possible.
They also have a range of joy flights from a leisurely cruise over the Hunter Valley and Newcastle Beaches to the thrill of aerobatic flights for the adrenaline junkie in their open cockpit bi-planes.
