Does your event cater to and attract visitors from outside the area?
A tourism event is a happening that occurs in a specified time frame (that is, has a set start and end date). An event may occur at regular intervals, annually (yearly), fortnightly, or once only. Tourism events include, but are not limited to: exhibitions and shows, performances, major sporting fixtures, music, food and wine festivals.
An event organiser applying for a listing on My Maitland must have an event that is relevant to the leisure tourism market and attract visitation at a local, regional, state, national or international level. Your event will also appear on visitnsw.com under Maitland events.
Events that are not considered tourism events may still be eligible fora listing on Maitland City Council's Community Noticeboard. Click here to find out more.
Complete the fields with your event details, contact information and category. You must supply a quality image (minimum image width is 600px) for your event to be considered. Please note, submitting an event does not guarantee it will be featured.
