Phoenix Park Farm Play
Overview
Phoenix Park Farm is a working organic farm adjacent to the Hunter River at Phoenix Park near Morpeth. The farm has mixed vegetable crops, citrus orchard, pasture raised eggs, honey production and fodder crops. They also have areas of improved and restored wildlife habitat and extensive riparian zones.
Join farmers Jesse and Carly on their morning rounds. Spend time with the chickens, Barry the goat and his two sheep friends. Harvest from the garden and make something special to share. Get your hands messy in the garden and learn about what’s happening on the farm.
Two time slots available for children aged 3 to 6 years, and 7 to 12 years.
Children should bring enclosed footwear, hat, sunscreen, wet weather jacket, water and a sense of adventure.
