Maitland City Council recognises the social and economic benefits of hosting events in our beautiful city and their vital role in attracting over 903,000 visitors to Maitland each year. 

Whether you are looking for assistance preparing a bid, want to know what funding opportunities are available, or are seeking a letter of support from Council, there is a range of assistance for event organisers.

Council has a range of supporting documents available that may be of assistance when preparing a bid to host your next conference or sporting event.

Industry grants and funding opportunities are regularly made available through Maitland City Council and a variety of government departments.

Letters of support can often add weight to bids, and in certain cases Council may be willing to provide a letter of support to those looking to bring large scale events to Maitland.
