MRAG Exhibition: Andrew Sullivan – Survey into the Cretaceous

Overview

Survey into the Cretaceous is a journey into the painter’s imagination where Andrew Sullivan has imagined himself as an assigned artist with a team of paleontologists, scientists and geographers on a survey expedition into the late Cretaceous period.

His brief was to record fauna and express the experience through paint. Boundaries of reality and barriers between disciplines blurred, this is an act of imagination.

The work presented being the product of the journey, tangible evidence of an impossible story.

Andrew Sullivan is represented by Galerie pompom, Sydney.
