Healing Herbs Grown in Your Garden Workshop with Pat Collins

Overview

In this workshop, participants will discover the healing qualities of different herbs you can grow in your own garden and the herbal remedies that can be made from them.

During the session, the group will learn the steps to create healing ointment, chamomile cream, ginkgo tincture, elder champagne, comforting tea and feverfew capsules. If the group is large enough (over 16 participants) the session will also include wormwood capsules, rosemary salt and spirit of balm.

Herb samples will be brought along by Pat to share amongst the group. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own garden herbs to learn of their uses and healing qualities. Also, feel free to bring weeds from your garden to have identified by Pat and their healing qualities unveiled.

Each participant will take home around AUD60 worth of herbal remedies made on the day.
