Life, Loss, Longing and Love Launch (Open Mic)

Join Amber Wilkes, founder of Pocketbook Poet Society to launch the exhibition, Notes on Life Loss Longing and Love.
Thousands of people have visited the Art Gallery over the last year specifically to experience the breath-taking sculpture ‘Pregnant woman’ by internationally renowned artist Ron Mueck. In the presence of ‘Pregnant woman’, everyone is invited to share their own stories to capture the essence of life’s most profound and complex experiences.
Amber will host an open mic night dedicated to ‘Pregnant woman’. Attendees are welcome to respond the exhibition beforehand or save their stories and poems for the night through a showcase of spoken word poetry.
