Meet a Dingo

Meet a Dingo

Overview

Hello Dingo are bringing the magic of the Australian outback to East Maitland library.
Come along and learn all about one of Australia’s most iconic and beloved animals; the Dingo.

Meet Bindi and Flynn, two beautiful and friendly dingoes, hand raised to spread the word about their species. Learn about their special adaptations, their family structures, and their habitats. Find out more about the special role they play in Australian ecosystems, and how you can help in conservation efforts today. Families will leave with a renewed appreciation of these incredible animals.

Enjoy a fun, educational and interactive experience, where the dingoes are free to interact with families, and delight both young and old.

To ensure a calm, safe experience for both the dingoes and families, numbers are strictly limited.

If you’d like to learn even more about dingoes, join us for our special Kids’ Book Club on Thursday 29 January. We will be discussing Kimmi: Queen of the Dingoes by Favel Parrett. Grab your copy from East Maitland library.

This event will be held outdoors, so please bring hat, sunscreen and water bottle.

Bookings essential. Numbers are strictly limited.
Please book for each person attending, including both children and adults.
