Mic Whitty

Michael Whitty at Maitland and Beyond Family History

Overview

Guest speaker, Michael Whitty is visiting Maitland & Beyond Family History.

Michael is on a quest to visit all 25,630 Commonwealth War Graves located around the world. After discovering a diary written by his grandfather about his experiences on the Western Front in 1916, Michael’s goal is to continue until Victory in Japan Day in 2045.

‘Mic’s’ mode of transport is a single speed bicycle. Contact MBFH to book your seat. A plate of savoury or sweets for lunch to help with catering would be greatly appreciated. You may wish to make a donation towards Mic’s quest.
