Weaving for Wearables

Overview

Many garments can be woven out of one piece of fabric, for example, ruana coat, kimono, sarong skirt, drawstring dress, loom shaped vest, capelet, cape shawl, jacket, mini-coat, or tabard. Many garments can be woven on narrow looms: belted tunic, raglan blouse, tabard, Macedonian jacket, and tunic with pockets. Create a marriage that combines the skills of design weaving on the loom, with the design of a wearable that completed brings joy and happiness.

This is a one day workshop from 10am to 3pm. There is a material fee to the tutor of $20 payable on the day. You will learn to adorn your own material and be placed on the path to your own projects.
