Gillieston Heights Skate Park
Overview
The new Gillieston Heights Skate Park and Playspace are now officially open.
Located next to Roy Jordan Oval, the new AUD927,000 facility caters to various ages and abilities. The skate park features a flow bowl with a keyhole transition while brand new play equipment has also been installed, including nature and water play elements such as a manual water pump.
Extra shade, picnic tables and footpaths have also been included.
This project was jointly funded by the NSW Government’s Places to Play grant program and Maitland City Council.
