Celebrate our great nation and community spirit with Australia Day with celebrations at Maitland Park and Maitland’s Dive in Cinema, where you can make a splash and enjoy a marathon of family friendly movies from the comfort of the pool. The splash pad will be open daily at the Maitland Aquatic Centre. 

Soundswell will be held at Queens Wharf Morpeth for the first time with an impressive lineup of Australian music by the Hunter River.

Enjoy many of the activities to be held at Maitland Gaol, Maitland Regional Art Gallery and Maitland Libraries.

Join in the action as Newcastle Jets A League Women’s take on three rival teams at Maitland Regional Sportsground.
