‘Flow’ Mural at Lee Street

Overview

Commissioned by Maitland City Council as part of the Your High Street initiative, this mural was painted by local artist Patricia Van Lubeck. Patricia was inspired by the Maitland gasworks that were located at the current location of the cinema, which borders Lee Street.

The artwork known as ‘Flow’ references the gasworks through abstract pipes and machinery with a slight art deco dressing that can also be interpreted as a circuit board.
