‘The Heart of Maitland’ was curated by local Newcastle artist Jordan Lucky in the carpark of Maitland Central.
The mural’s concept was inspired by Maitland’s colourful ecosystem reliant on the Hunter River. The mural features a stunning variety of birds of prey that are embraced by the local community.
