Indian Root Pills Building

Overview

Before billboards lined our roads, advertisements were painted on the sides of buildings, sheds and fences on private property. This original advertisement for Dr. Morse’s Indian Root sign is located on the side of an old farm shed along Morpeth Road in Tenambit.

This landmark building is one of the most photographed locations in Maitland due to its uniqueness and the spectacular backdrop of farmland scenery.
