Explore

Take advantage of the outdoors and explore the local area by travelling by foot or bike within East Maitland, taking in the sights and sounds.

A small walk from your accommodation at East Maitland Executive Apartments down the hill on Lawes Street will take you past some beautiful, colourful front gardens and the park on the corner of Bank Street and Lawes Street. Or explore in the opposite direction to wander through the shopping village that offers plenty of variety from stores such as The Collab Store and Teale Cafe.

Continue your exploration by visiting the former maximum security prison that is Maitland Gaol. Enjoy a self guided audio tour and discover the history and stories.
