Head to breakfast at the Common Grounds before a morning of shopping and exploring in the historic river port town of Morpeth. Visit Miss Lily’s Lollies, Morpeth Ginger Beer Factory and Gourmet Foods and wander along on the Morpeth Heritage Walk.

On your way to East Maitland for lunch at Organic Feast Café stop off in Tenambit at Donarch Fine Chocolate and pick up some delectable award winning chocolate to indulge in. Then make your way over the Luskintyre Bridge and spend your afternoon at Tranquil Vale, sipping wine and basking in the countryside.

A Moving Feast is the perfect end to a day of feasting as you visit some of the best restaurants in Maitland via foot. 

Continue your taste of Maitland

Enjoy breakfast on the river at The Orange Tree Café and spend a leisurely morning at The Levee.

With a coffee in hand, do a spot of shopping and enjoy a stroll along The Riverside Walk as you admire the public artworks that connect The Levee with the Hunter River.

Before you head out of Central Maitland visit The Whistler to fuel up for your afternoon exploring the walking trails at Walka Water Works.
