You and the kids will love visiting Maitland Regional Art Gallery, with more than 6,000 works. The Gallery is a community driven, public gallery, which is welcome to everyone and free to enter.

Visit Morpeth Museum to learn about the historic riverside township of Morpeth and its people. Tocal Homestead is also open on Sundays March to November where you can do a self guided tour of the colonial farm which dates back to the 1830s.

Enjoy a classic pub meal perfect for the family at The Regal Inn. Let the kids run in the playground overlooking the sweeping valley. Other kid friendly establishments with playgrounds include The Windsor Castle Hotel, The Bank and The Bradford Hotel

If you’re after a lunch with a Mexican style make sure to check out El Chapos in High Street, Maitland. This stop will leave you and the kids raving after you try their nachos, tacos quesadillas, and that’s not even mentioning dessert!
