Adventure through Maitland Gaol using a self guided tour. This former maximum security prison housed some of Australia’s most notorious criminals . Maitland Gaol has a vibrant history spanning over 150 years and has plenty of stories to tell.


Enjoy a classic pub meal perfect for the family at The Hunter River Hotel. You will love their warm atmosphere and the kids will love the games room that they have allocated for them! 

If you’re after a lunch with a Mexican style make sure to check out El Chapos in High Street, Maitland. This stop will leave you and the kids raving after you try their nachos, tacos quesadillas, and don’t forget about dessert!
